Hi, I'm Srini and I'm a PhD student in Computer Science at the
University of Washington, Seattle.
My advisors are Luke Zettlemoyer and
I am interested in Natural Language Processing.
My main interests lie in joint modeling of natural language and source code.
I am excited about using natural language to specify computer programs by learning from vast amount of web data,
and in particular,
I am interested in automatically converting utterances to SQL queries for arbitrary database schemas.
Before this, I worked at Facebook in the Ads Ranking and Optimization team.
We used machine learning to ensure that users *love* the ads that they see on fb.
I got my Masters in CS from Stanford University where I worked on BioInformatics and Theoretical CS.
I like summiting peaks, traveling to national parks, and photography.
